Blazefield was an outfit that knew what it was doing – elegant liveries, decent blinds (look how they’ve actually used all the wasted space!) and competent buses. Transdev, who took over their operations a while ago, haven’t damaged them too badly, so far sticking to a plain fleetname. Keighley & District Volvo B7TL 2701 (Y701 HRN) demonstrates.

Hear Hear Matt. Just admire that K&D Destination display..Now that`s VISIBLE!
There is an uncomfortable tendency to over-engineer everything in this industry today with a constantly reducing rate of return for each “New” best idea.
Ie: installing New Super Bright LED displays on the rear of Enviro400`s behind Heavily Tinted Rear Window Glass..Doh !!!

Still, the Leeds blind could eaisily fit a via point in, something TfL is being critised for dropping in favour for ultimate point destinations…..

Admit it Matt, you just wanted an excuse to post a photo of a bus with “Leeds” in big letters on the front!
